We are teaming up with Dr Amanda from House of Science Wairarapa, and Becky the Brains from Under the Stars to bring our youngest scientists their very own after school Science Club, starting term two Monday 3rd May 2021.
We think Science Club rocks! Literally! Term 2’s Science Club at the Pod is all about Earth science: rocks, crystals, caves, earthquakes, volcanoes, quicksand and much more!
Every session has a hands-on experiment for the kids to do, from making bubbling chocolate mud to an exploding volcano, beautiful crystals to take home and creating a handy compass. Earth science is pretty awesome fun!
Pod Club, what you need to know:
Age: Best suited for 7 – 12 years
When: Every Monday during the school term 3.45pm – 4.30pm
Where: At The Pod!
Cost: $150 for the term membership

Children enrolled in Science Club can join our walking bus from Greytown School to The Pod on Monday afternoons. There will be time for a quick afternoon snack before the science fun begins!
